Top of the Town

Capitol Hill Housing's annual Top of the Town event takes place every spring at the exquisite Sorrento Hotel. A cocktail hour followed by a splendid sit-down dinner, this evening event brings together a unique mix of development industry members, philanthropists, and Capitol Hill residents.
During dinner our guests have the opportunity to hear from a specially invited guest on themes of tremendous interest. Past guests have included Deputy Mayor Tim Ceis speaking on how Seattle is really run, Stranger Editor Dan Savage on what makes a neighborhood great, and Bullitt Foundation CEO Denis Hayes on the past and future of sustainable development.
Top of the Town 2012 is sold out! To guarantee seating next year, consider sponsoring the event.
Omnivorous

Every fall,Omnivorous features the best restaurants, brewers, coffee roasters and dessert makers of Capitol Hill showcasing their creations in a fundraiser for Capitol Hill Housing.
In recent years, Capitol Hill has fostered one of the greatest restaurant scenes on the West Coast. The explosion of new quality restaurants includes a diverse and eclectic range of cuisines, run by local owners who have chosen to call this vibrant neighborhood home. Omnivorous celebrates this generous community with many great local restaurants gathering under one roof for just one night. Our extraordinary restaurants present signature hors d'oeuvres and desserts designed specifically for this event and donated to benefit Capitol Hill Housing's mission of building vibrant and engaged communities. Guests are invited to stop in for a bite or stay for the night.
Run For Homes

Supporters of Capitol Hill Housing hit the pavement to walk or run Seattle marathon events to raise vital funds for our organization. The Run For Homes has fielded about 20 participants, from community supporters, residents of CHH housing, staff members and board members. Participants receive perks such as weekly training runs with experienced coach and Fleet Feet Seattle team-member Allen Skytta, a free technical shirt, and the camaraderie of a community of walkers and runners looking to make a difference in their community. Each runner or walker is asked to raise funds individually to sponsor their participation in the Run For Homes and channel money to CHH to support the organization's effort to provide affordable homes throughout Seattle.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the November 2011 Run for Homes event.
