There’s more today on the Stranger’s Slog about the 12th Avenue streetcar loop.

This one might merit more discussion.
As a former 12th avenue resident I’m a supporter, but it would be good to see better access for First Hill as well.
Personally, I think a pedestrian tunnel should be built from Rainier Square to Seattle University (aprox. 1 mile) with elevator access at First Hill. I’d also turn 12th Avenue into a BRT spine in combination with the Streetcar and pull the buses out of downtown.
